WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY TO THIS ARTWORK? PART II

Here is part two of my four part blog about my recent performance at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood, New Jersey. First, my brother and I decided that I would play one composed and one improvised piece in three locations in the gallery to highlight each of the artist's work being exhibited. Second, we chose what pieces would go with which art works. The next step was to develop a "choreography" on how to move the saxophones from one location to the next, what stands I would need, and general logistics for performing in multiple locations. We sketched out the following to help us:

I started with an etude by Eugene Bozza on the alto saxophone, and followed it with this improvisation on the tenor saxophone:
