My proposal was accepted on "Gilded Age America (1870-1900): Caryl Florio and the Vanderbilts" where I will discuss the 19th century saxophone compositions of Caryl Florio and their place in the larger social fabric of the United States.
The lecture will culminate in a live performance of Caryl FLORIO (1843-1920), Introduction, Theme, and Variations (1879). Here's a video from my previous performance:
